Birthdays: you can make each birthday a different color and theme.

Baby: first year, christening, baptism

Reunions: family, school

Family history: This is great because each member of the family can contribute.

Holidays: Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, New Year's

Clubs and organizations: historical societies, bird watching groups, adventure clubs, scouts, brownies, theatrical, Little League, all types of sports, dance

Other ideas: grandparent's album, recipe book, poetry and thoughts, inspiration.

Optional but I think is necessary: alphabet stamp sets, inks and powders, stamps, stickers

Begin with the result in mind. Tell a story with the photos you take, and keep notes and souvenirs to add to the book.

Don't spend much money on the album. Buy plain, inexpensive albums, then dress up the insides and outsides. This is a great time for using your stamps
